Cross Barbell is a hybrid object, combining elements of a wooden Christian cross, similar to the one that Christ could have worn, and an Olympic weightlifting barbell. The intricate motifs carved into the wood, with their sharp edges, are inspired by the grips found on weightlifting bars and are handmade using a plunge saw. The use of PETG 3D prints as connectors between the elements allows for easy disassembly and transportation of the object while adding a futuristic dimension to the suggested fiction.
