Monster Syringe is an assembly work that combines the motor and structural elements of various out-of-service machines (vacuum cleaner, sander, grinder…) using 3D prints made of PETG. The whole piece is adorned with natural stones, embedded in screw heads fixed into the prints, reminiscent of goldsmithing, and presented on a velvet cushion inserted in concrete breeze blocks, referencing the display mode of certain Christian relics. The overall shape of the object and the inclusion of a 50cl can of Monster, an energy drink sometimes used as a pre-workout supplement, suggest a potential use of the sculpture as a tool.
